Sheila Taylor, Executive Director, with the Parks Foundation Calgary will be providing an update on the success of the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway project. The idea was to create a pathway that encircled the Calgary. Imagine a wheel – the Rotary/Mattamy Greenway, connecting to spokes – Calgary’s many existing pathways. The Rotary/Mattamy Greenway forms the largest pathway network in the world, over 1000km of trails. The $50M project was massive and unprecedented in scale, both for Calgary and for the Parks Foundation. Our Club will be making it's final donation to the project at the meeting.
