- Calgary Opera was funded $2600 to help Connaught School students present a performance in May 2024
- Connaught School
- Our club funded $3000 towards the Connaught School annual BBQ which was held September 2023. We had a really good turnout, over 1,000 happy customers were served Burgers and chips. We had partnered with the Connaught School Parent Council to help with the volunteers as well as two members of the Rotary Downtown club, who also lent their BBQ equipment
- Gary Webster is stepping down as the BBQ organizer for 2024 BBQ and Al Muller has agreed to take on the organizing duties for BBQ
- Our club also funded $534 for busing for a field triOur committee received two applications for the RYPEN program this year
- In March 2024 our club sponsored $5000 to the Variety Children's Foundation
- The $5000 donation was for two events,
- a mini-golf tournament, held in March 2024.
- Car build to be held in July 2024
- Jack James School
- $1026 was spent to help with applications for Seniors
- the teachers of Jack James prepared and submitted a "Wish List" of items that they felt were essential and we could sponsor. The club donated $11,000 for the Wish List Items
- The culinary department at Jack James School invited our club to the school and prepared a very delicious breakfast of Steak and Potatoes
- In May 2024, Jack James School held its annual awards ceremony and our club sponsored $6,000 for the annual scholarship awards
- Closer to home was also provided $2500 in funding
